Items:
Calendar/planner: It's important to have a monthly planner so that I can have my weekly schedule with me so if a teacher asks my availability I have it ready. (Purchased at Staples)
Treasure bag: filled with all kinds of goodies, pencils, bouncy balls, stickers, pencil grips, bracelets..etc) I plan to pick a few students who are following directions to choose from the bag at the end of the day. (Purchased at the Dollar Tree, Party City, and Target)
Binder: My binder is filled with worksheets/coloring pages for each grade level. This way if I need something to fill the time in between lessons I can pick from these!
Clipboard: I bought a clipboard to hold my sub plans for the day so that I won't misplace them. (Purchased at Target)
Timer:
I hate having to keep track of the time with a clock and a timer will make sure that I'm are staying on track with the lesson plans. Some teachers may have them but if not then I'll have one just in case. (Purchased at the Dollar Tree)
Miscellaneous :
Mini first aid kit filled with Bandaids, Lotion, mints, mini deodorant, small hairbrush with mirror, hand sanitizer and cough drops.
Pencil case/sticky notes: Pencil case filled with colored pens, pencils, highlighter, and sticky notes.
I have my first sub job on Friday! I'll be subbing for the kindergarten teacher I student taught with.
